Kadans Science Partner is pleased to welcome Curiox Biosystems, a pioneering life science technology company specialising in automated and standardised sample preparation for cell analysis, to its London Innovation Centre at 20 Water Street, Canary Wharf as one of the first tenants at the site’s Co-Working Lab. 

Curiox is a global company with headquarters in South-Korea and subsidiaries in the USA, Asia and Europe.  It is establishing its first UK location in Canary Wharf’s growing life sciences community. The Company’s innovative Curiox C-FREE™ technology represents a leap forward in cell processing, transforming cell sample preparation in research and development by improving reproducibility, efficiency, and ease of use.  

Curiox joins a host of exciting innovative businesses already based at the London Innovation Centre, including Plasmidsaurus and Myricx Bio. The London Innovation Centre comprises 40,000 sq. ft of laboratory space with tenants having the option of renting a bench in the Co-Working lab or taking their own private lab and office space.  

The Co-Working Lab is designed to meet the specific needs of molecular biology and microbiology researchers, offering private workspaces, biosafety hoods, and incubators in a secure and collaborative environment. This adaptable approach empowers companies to focus on innovation and growth, without the logistical and financial burdens of traditional lab setups.

The London Innovation Centre provides flexible, fully serviced CL2 wet-lab laboratory and innovative workspaces for early-stage life science, biology and pharma organisations. By providing shared access to state-of-the-art equipment through partnerships with industry leaders, Kadans’ Co-Working Lab within the Innovation Centre eliminates the burden of costly upfront investments and long-term commitments, providing a flexible space to support businesses to grow and develop.   

The London Innovation Centre forms part of the broader One North Quay Development plan and wider life sciences and healthcare ecosystem across Canary Wharf, with tenants including AviadoBio, hVIVO, Genomics England, Barts Health NHS Trust, Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, Medical Defence Union and NHS Transformation. One North Quay is set to be the tallest and most technically sophisticated purpose-built commercial laboratory building in Europe. It will bring 823,000 sq ft GIA commercial vertical health and life sciences campus, on the 3.3-hectare North Quay site, and is expected to be complete in 2027.
