Sherard Building

Encouraging cooperation and knowledge sharing for life science start-ups

Venture capitalist in the Oxford Science Park

Sherard Building

The Sherard Building is a striking, stand-alone building in the heart of the Oxford Science Park. The four-story building has been fully renovated to provide flexible office and laboratory space for life science start-ups and organisations.

In addition, to the high-quality design of the suites, attention has also been paid to the practical environment of the building to meet tenants’ ‘back-of-house’ requirements. Outside, the building is surrounded by trees and greenery, creating a landscaped environment intended to promote sustainability and well-being for its occupants, with additional outdoor seating areas.

While we help a variety of life science start-ups companies with office and lab space in the United Kingdom, the current tenant is the venture capitalist Oxford Science Enterprise (OSE). OSE uses the building to support life science start-ups, such as biotech start-ups, coming out of Oxford University.
